If you're prone to forgetting your cable, some power banks can recharge your phone wirelessly. As such, they're usually larger, weightier and tend to be more expensive. Anything with 20,000mAh or above will charge your phone multiple times, and many can charge several devices simultaneously. High capacity power banks: When you're after a power bank for a camping trip or weekend getaway, or to power your Switch or laptop, you'll want something with a higher capacity. These ones also potentially include fast charging capability and extra ports (more on those below). If you pick something with a 10,000mAh battery, expect it to be a bit heftier than the small options (it could be about the same size as your phone) but not so heavy that you'd think twice about throwing one in your bag. Mid-range power banks: Many of the best power banks come with a mid-range capacity, as it's a great balance between portability and convenience. These usually cost between £10 to £30, can be as small as a chocolate bar and 5,000mAh is enough for nearly a full extra charge on most phones. We'd recommend avoiding anything below 5,000mAh, though, as they'll barely recharge today's smartphones. Small power banks: Looking at entry-level low capacity power banks? These are ideal for a quick top up to get your phone through to the end of the day. How do I choose a good power bank? Size and capacity
